Tom Trago, born on January 28, 1983, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, is a renowned DJ and producer, celebrated for his contributions to the upbeat house and disco genres. His music, known for its big hooks and understated grooves, reflects a rich tapestry of influences, including hip-hop, soul, and R&B. Trago's second album "Iris," released in 2011, was particularly noted for its broad scope and diverse influences, earning him the label of “a producer for the future” by critics.


In 2013, he released "The Light Fantastic," his third album, which he recorded while living in a cabin in the countryside. This album was praised for embracing its influences while creating a distinctly Dutch sound, further solidifying Trago's position as a key figure in the Netherlands' house music scene. His discography also includes "Voyage Direct" (2009) and "Bergen" (2018), with the latter being recorded in the Northern Dutch town of Bergen and described by Trago as his most accomplished and honest work to date.


Trago is also known for his collaborative spirit, having produced records with various artists including San Proper, Romathony, Steffi, Breach, William Kouam Djoko, Tyree Cooper, Young Marco, Awanto 3, Bok Bok, and Seth Troxler. His DJ tours have seen him sharing sets with other high-profile DJs like Ben UFO, Tama Sumo, Jus Ed, Jackmaster, and Young Marco.


His work extends beyond albums to include various EPs and singles, showcasing his range and adaptability within the electronic music domain. Tom Trago's career, marked by a deep connection to the Dutch electronic scene and a passion for exploring and blending genres, has made him a prominent and respected figure in the world of electronic music
